Below we will be discussing where the best WR talent comes from. We have traveled all over the country for our QB/WR camps and we will be giving our opinion on the non obvious talent states like FL, TX & CA. I hope this can provide you with some value!
Also, in 2025 we are coming out to 15 more cities for QB/WR skill camps! We will be coming to SAN FRANCISCO CA, ORLANDO FL, PHOENIX AZ, CHARLOTTE NC, AUSTIN TX, CHICAGO IL, SEATTLE WA, LAS VEGAS NV, NEWARK NJ, BIRMINGHAM AL, HOUSTON TX, BOSTON MA, COLUMBUS OH, BOISE IDAHO & LOS ANGELES CA Checkout the link below to sign up ⬇️⬇️
Okay, so the obvious answer for this is Florida, Texas & California. Those are the big 3 football states. But I will say there are 3 other states that really impressed me.
1)- Georgia/Alabama - we had a camp in Atlanta last year and half was from Georgia and the other half was from Alabama. And I’m telling you right now, I put them right up there with the south Florida talent we have seen. They were big, fast and about the work (which is what I care most about). It was hot & humid and they never complained. Everyone from that area of the country has toughness I’ve never seen where I live, which is California.
2)- Underrated place I will say but Hawaii- we had a camp in Honolulu and obviously since Hawaii is so far from everything, every receiver was from the area. I’m telling you, Hawaii gets a lot of publicity for QB talent and linemen/defense. Don’t count out their receivers. They have a lot of talent. Maybe not the biggest dudes, but some of the most talented guys we have seen.
3)- Ohio- Ohio just has some physical specimens. The biggest receivers we have seen by far. Bigger than Texas. We have a camp near there every year and it never disappoints. Not the most training in Ohio so a lot of them are raw. But when you get a kid with great size, strength and mental approach to the game… the slightest coaching points can make a huge deal. We love the receivers in Ohio.
