Today we will be giving you a free conditioning workout that any football player can do. Conditioning for football players is a little different than most people think. Football players should not be conditioning by running for long distances. In football we never try to conserve energy. We go all our on every rep and try to be as explosive as we can on every rep. With the exception of maybe QBs and kickers. But you need to train for maximum effort movements. You want conditioning and a quick recovery time after exerting yourself like this. So this workout will be focusing on that.

Warm Up (do a dynamic warm up first)
400yd jog
Split 1
3x300yd shuttles (shuttle means up and back on a football field for 100yds) (so a 300yd shuttle is down, back and then down)
Walk 100yds back for rest
Split 2
4x200yd shuttles
Walk 100yds for rest
Split 3
5x100yd sprints
Walk 100yds for rest
Split 4
6x50yd sprints
Walk 50yds for rest
