If your coach shows favoritism for another player there is a couple things you can do. But the most important is to not get discouraged. You need to just put your head down and work. Too many people use that excuse of favoritism to not work their ass off. They figure oh why should I work if I’m not gonna get the position anyways. That’s the worst attitude you can have. No matter the circumstances, if you ACTUALLY work your ass off, not just to pretend to the coaches will find a spot for you. Just trust the process. You have to trust the process and trust your work ethic. The hardest worker will always rise to the top. Nobody who really is focused on getting better and improving will be kept off the field. Take it from a coach, that’s who we want on the field
