How Freshman Can Get Offers

Below we will be discussing how freshman can get offers. I hope this can help!

Also, in 2025 we are coming out to 15 more cities for QB/WR skill camps! We will be coming to SAN FRANCISCO CA, ORLANDO FL, PHOENIX AZ, CHARLOTTE NC, AUSTIN TX, CHICAGO IL, SEATTLE WA, LAS VEGAS NV, NEWARK NJ, BIRMINGHAM AL, HOUSTON TX, BOSTON MA, COLUMBUS OH, BOISE IDAHO & LOS ANGELES CA Checkout the link below to sign up ⬇️⬇️

So I want to start off by saying everything you see on social media is not what it seems. If you see ANYBODY, I don’t care who they are… receive an offer before the summer before the junior year, it is a non committable offer. Which means it’s not necessarily a real offer. You can’t commit to that school. The offer is based on potential, the college is essentially saying “we think you might be really good but if you’re not, we don’t want to be binded to this offer” It’s not fair to the kids honestly, but it goes on. And some kids are worth it for sure. Very talented, good size, play varsity etc. But don’t get discouraged if you’re not at that level yet. Don’t believe everything you see. It’s a long 4 years in high school and you need to stay focused/keep your priorities straight. The more you worry about someone else and their recruiting path, the more it distracts you from yours.

So as a freshman, if you have no recruiting attention- what can you do to get started. First thing you want to do is make an X account, formerly known as Twitter. On your account keep it professional. Include your name in your bio, position, graduating class and the school/state you’re in. Now, if you have varsity film you want to make that the pinned tweet on the profile. Which is essentially the first post people will see when clicking on your account. You have to make your account public. Now if you don’t have varsity film yet, don’t worry about it. I would upload content consistently of you training, working out, retweeting teammates posts etc. Just so you have a social media presence.

Now the reason why we are doing all of this is because X is where college coaches do recruiting. They are on the app with the mindset of looking for recruits. They don’t have that mindset on any other platform. So you should be actively following coaches and reaching out to them. When you message them keep it short and sweet. Ask them about camp opportunities they have coming up. Then I would proceed to attend the camps, follow up with the coach you contacted before the camp and then directly after thanking him for his time. You just made a contact- and that’s how the process goes. It’s all about relationships. The more real relationships you can develop with coaches, will allow you to get more recruiting attention when you get varsity film. You have actual people you can send over your tape to. And they probably follow your account at this point, so when you post your highlights they are more likely to see it than if they didn’t follow you.

Now if you have varsity film, your DM might be different but it’s the same process. If you’re not sure what to DM a college coach, checkout the article we wrote before this one on DMing a college coach. It will increase the likelihood of you getting a response.

Also, we will be hosting a series of OL,DL,RB,LB & DB camps in 15 states this year as well! Here is the info below ⬇️⬇️
