Ages 9-10 (20-25yds) I would say at this age; throw distance should be the least of your worries. With my young QBs that I train, we don’t even throw deep. We focus purely on good mechanical habits. At this age, most QBs have an “over stride” problem. Aka a really big front step. This is a huge issue that is further amplified on deep throws. So focus more on short to mid range & building mechanical habits.
Ages 11-12 (30yds) (still would be emphasizing mechanics at this age)
Age 13 (30-35) (middle school sized ball)
Age 14 (40yds) (high school ball)
Ages 15-16 (45yds)
Ages 16+ (50+yds)
