QBs- I would say the best sport would be baseball but I would avoid pitching. The similarities in baseball and playing QB would be hitting a baseball actually. Yes, playing baseball can help change up the arm slots you are comfortable throwing from, but the hitting sequence of a baseball player is very similar to the throwing sequence of a QB. Do not pitch because the stride of a pitcher and the stride of a QB is extremely different. You don’t want a pitcher stride as a QB. It can slow down your release and make you inconsistent. Baseball is not mandatory for QBs.

WRs- Track or basketball. Track is obvious, I think that’s good generally for any football player. Basketball can help develop a quick twitch that WRs need off of the line vs. press

Defense- Rugby. If you want to learn how to tackle properly, rugby is for you.

Honorable mention- wrestling can be good for defensive guys and lineman as well. Can help with tackling and sometimes blocking.
