Nowadays it’s extremely common for athletes to get non-contact knee injuries. Some people will blame it on strength issues, some blame it on the turf and some can blame it on bad mechanics while cutting. I think all of these reasons can be valid. But your equipment also is a factor as well. Sometimes when wearing regular football cleats you can cut, and have the force from your cut shoot up into your leg in a sense, causing a wear down of tissue & other things in your legs. So the cleats I recommend for all skill players would be a brand called “Caddix”. We will attach a link below. Caddix is a new cleat technology where the studs on the cleat are made out of rubber.
