So for skill players I would assume you are looking for 3 things when it comes to cleats. Comfortable, weight & stability. Obviously I know some of you want to pay attention to how the cleats look- I’ve never been a stylish guy so I’m assuming everyone is different in that respect. But we are going to focus on comfortable, weight and stability in this article.
Light/Comfortable: The LIGHTEST pair of cleats I have ever worn are the “Adidas Electric Snack Attack” cleats. They are probably my favorite cleats. If you’re looking for light cleats, those are the absolute best. Now, they are also for the most part pretty comfortable. They have a stretchy top of the cleat. It’s not like Nike where it can be all plastic. So if you have wider feet or have had feet pain problems like me, these actually feel generally comfortable. I definitely recommend to anybody who makes comfortability and light cleats a priority.
Stability- Now the one thing those adidas cleats lack is a feeling of stability. I just feel like sometimes I’m one wrong step away from rolling an ankle when wearing them. So if you are more concerned about stability I recommend the “Nike Vapor Edge Speed 360” cleats. This is another pair that I will wear on occasion. They are a lot more stable I feel and give better support than adidas. Not even close when it comes to being as light as adidas and not as comfortable, but definitely more stable. So if you’re more concerned about stability, I recommend this pair.
