Average Height For Middle School WRs

Below we will be discussing the average height for middle school WRs. I hope this is able to answer a lot of your questions. Some of the most common messages and comments we get are all “hey coach I’m xyz height at xyz age, is this good enough?” So we wanted to make an article to answer this for the middle school WRs. We have made a few for high school players but this is our first for middle school guys. I hope this helps!

Also, if you play WR and would like a 2 month daily workout schedule to follow, checkout the link below! We give you 8 weeks of field route running workouts (sets & reps/video examples included), 8 weeks of WR specific gym workouts (sets/reps/examples includes) and a 1 Month speed development workout plan to do. Check it out here ⬇️⬇️⬇️

So for this, since at the wide receiver position you have slot WRs and outside WRs- it will be generally a wide range. If you’re on the shorter side of things I recommend you playing in the slot or at least learning both outside and slot. You also need to have some quickness if you’re undersized. Now middle school athletes can be weird, some of you may have. Or hit a growth spurt/puberty yet- so it’s hard to gauge your height. Don’t worry if you don’t fit the “average” on this article. A lot of you still have a lot of growing left to do.
