3 Drills To NEVER DROP A PASS

Grant Caraway

Below we are going to discuss some of the 3 best drills and exercises you can do as a WR to never drop a pass that DO NOT REQUIRE A QB. I hope this can help.

Also, if you are a WR and would like a daily training schedule to follow in the gym and for on field route running workouts, checkout the link below! We give you over 500+ drills and exercises with the exact sets/reps to follow ⬇️⬇️

Drill 1)- Finger Tip Push Ups- this builds grip strength which is the main reason a lot of WRs drop passes. Lack of grip strength. You can do these normally or on your knees to start but you must work your way up to full regular push ups on your finger tips.

Drill 2)- Tennis Ball Over-Head Throws.

Stand with your back up against a wall and hold a tennis ball- keep your eyes forward and toss the tennis ball over your head and off of the wall. When you hear it bounce, look up, track it and secure the catch.

This will help you improve over the shoulder catching which is a big play that a lot of WRs struggle with.

ALSO, WE ARE TRAVELING TO 14 MORE STATES FOR QB/WR SKILL CAMPS! We are coming to Orlando FL, The DMV, Charlotte NC, Phoenix AZ, Dallas TX, St. Louis MO, Honolulu HI, Boston MA, Cleveland OH, Austin TX, Seattle WA, Newark NJ, Denver CO, & Los Angeles CA…. If you want more info and want to know how you can sign up, checkout the link below!

Drill 3)- Tennis Ball- Eyes Closed Throws

Stand facing a wall with both eyes shut. Throw a tennis ball off the wall, open your eyes when you hear it make contact and then catch it with 1 hand. This will help your reaction time and hand eye coordination.
